As a new member of the RAMPS board, I am excited to be part of this year that celebrates 20 years for this exceptional nonprofit, doing great things in the Richmond Region. With over 700 ramps built to date, there is still a waiting list of qualified recipients, who see a ramp as a means to rejoin their communities.
Regional High School and corporate volunteers provide the manpower to assemble these ramps that are designed to fit each individual location. Funding is used to purchase materials and tools that make the ramp builds happen. Help us give the gift of mobility and independence to permanent wheelchair users.
